"It's our 18th birthday - so here's our gift to you..."

A week of 18th birthday celebrations at Genesis beginning with a screening of the 1963 film 'Sparrows Don't Sing' on Friday 4th May which had its world premiere here back in the day  and a showing of our favourite film from the year of our birth ('99) 'Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels  all followed by a 1960's black tie party in Bar Paragon with live music & FREE BEER.

On Saturday 5th we have a  #genesisters special featuring a screening of East End fave SUFFRAGETTE and live performances from EVANS THE DEATH & KATHRYN WOODS (FRESH).

On Sunday 6th we not only have a run of great screenings but also a FREE night of experimental short films in Bar Paragon!

The week continues with a screening of our favourite film from each year of our young life including a double-KILL-BILL, LEGEND, THE ARTIST and LOST IN TRANSLATION - all tickets at the price we charged the day we were born - just £2.50 per person!

On Wednesday 10th we welcome Wes Anderson producer Jeremy Dawson for a Q&A following the 8pm showing of GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL!

For EVERY SINGLE one of these special screenings we'll be offering FREE tickets to local community groups, charities and schools as well as running competitions and giving away lots of delicious beer courtesy of Truman's Brewery.

To mark the reappearance of the iconic, brilliant TWIN PEAKS on our TV screens this coming May we're offering up a selection of co-creator David Lynch's finest big screen offerings here at Genesis.

Beginning with a beautifully remastered version of MULHOLLAND DRIVE on April 27th we'll be delving into the depths of David's dark and delightful mind across a series of special screenings.
