The Cold Spell are a piano based act fronted by James Boston on piano and vocals, featuring melodically rich songcraft in the vein of Ben Folds, Randy Newman, Father John Misty and Misty's Big Adventure. Jess Kay will be joining on Cajon, with guests Liz Hilder and Andrew Montague Cook. Expect surreal puppetry based visuals as they premier their new video, and a song or two from their forthcoming EP 'All Aboard the Driverless Carriage', described as a 'conceptual train journey through a larger than life metropolis where everyones a little punch drunk

"Low-level bureaucrat Sam Lowry (Jonathan Pryce) escapes the monotony of his day-to-day life through a recurring daydream of himself as a virtuous hero saving a beautiful damsel. Investigating a case that led to the wrongful arrest and eventual death of an innocent man instead of wanted terrorist Harry Tuttle (Robert De Niro), he meets the woman from his daydream (Kim Greist), and in trying to help her gets caught in a web of mistaken identities, mindless bureaucracy and lies."
