‘Injection’ is a documentary following the real life Southall vigilante, enforcer, protector, debt collector, bloodline warrior and “super alpha”, Injection SherePunjab. Through his extraordinary life and larger than life persona, the film explores modern masculinity within British South Asian communities, the unique social dynamics of Southall’s Punjabi community, and the rapid gentrification reshaping one of London’s most iconic immigrant neighbourhoods. Blending humour, tension and cultural observation, Injection offers an intimate portrait of a man who sees himself as the last line of defence for a changing community.
