The London 48 Hour Film Project returns for its 20th edition, presenting 22 brand-new short films — each conceived, written, shot and edited in just one weekend.

Fuelled by creativity, collaboration, and caffeine, filmmaking teams rose to the ultimate challenge, delivering bold, inventive work bursting with talent.

From laugh-out-loud comedies and powerful dramas to imaginative thrillers and daring experiments, this premiere showcases a dazzling spectrum of storytelling from London’s vibrant independent film scene.

Experience all 22 films on the big screen, celebrate the filmmakers’ incredible achievements, and see which teams claim top honours and the chance to represent London on the international stage at Filmapalooza.

Mitski: The Land

Filmed over three nights at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre in 2024, Mitski: The Land captures the artist at the height of her musical powers, showcasing music from “The Land Is Inhospitable snd So Are We” alongside re-workings and re-imaginings of songs from her expansive career.
