How much do tickets cost?
We aim to keep our ticket prices as accessible as possible so everyone can enjoy their local cinema. Prices start from £5 and can be found on our price page here.
Do you have wheelchair access?
Yes, we have wheelchair access to our Foyer, Gallery, Café, Kiosk and Screens 2, 3, Studio 4 and Studio 5.
Screen 1, Bar Paragon or The Kitchen are accessible with the use of our wheelchair stair climber (maximum load: 150kg including chair and user), from the main public staircase. For information on our stair climber please see this link.
What happens on the day of my booking?
Come to Box Office to purchase or print off your tickets or go straight to security to scan your QR code ticket that will have been sent in a confirmation email.

Our pre-film programme of ads and trailers is roughly 20 minutes long. Please note that certain special events don't have any ads or trailers so the film will start at the time advertised. You will always be notified of this on the film's webpage. If you're early or aren't fussed about the trailers you're welcome to head to our bar to grab a drink, kitchen to have a bite to eat or kiosk for your film snacks.
The screen opens roughly 10 minutes before the film but check on the screen door in case we're still prepping your screen. If you're in screens 1-3 which have unallocated screening, make sure to get to your preferred seat early if it's a busy show.
Can I get a membership?
Absolutely! We have memberships to suit everyone and you can find out more here. If you'd like to gift a membership head to our vouchers page where you can purchase the exact amount that can be exchanged for a membership.
Can I visit Bar Paragon or eat at The Kitchen without seeing a film?
Sure, just let our security know and they'll let you through.
Can I bring food or drink bought from outside the cinema?
No. All food and drinks bought from outside of the cinema must be left with our security guard who will give you a ticket in order to collect them at the end of your screening.
Genesis reserves the right to inspect customer’s bags upon entrance to the venue to check for any prohibited items. Inspections are to be carried out by members of and at the discretion of our security and management team.
All customers reserve the right to deny inspection. Any customer who refuse an inspection will not be permitted entry.
What time does the Kiosk close?
Our Kiosk - selling popcorn, snacks, sweets and drinks - closes approximately 25 minutes after last screening of the day has begun (usually around 9.30pm). This applies to Coffee, Kitchen and Bar as well although Bar may be open later with events.

Do you accept credit cards?
We accept all major credit cards including American Express.
Are seats allocated, or can I sit anywhere?
We operate allocated seating in Studios 4 and 5 whereas Screens 1-3 are unallocated so if it's busy get there early to get the best seats for you.
How big are the screens?
Screen 1 seats 566 (plus two wheelchair spaces)
Screens 2 + 3 seat 154 each (plus two wheelchair spaces)
Studio 4 seats 42 made up of sofas and armchairs
Studio 5 has 39 seats made up of sofas and armchairs
Do you offer discounts for disabled people?
No, we don't offer discounts but we will give a complimentary ticket for a carer to anyone in possession of a Cinema Exhibitors Association card or a registered carer card. Check here for more information and how to use your CEA Card on the website.
What other discounts do you have?
If you work for the NHS or are a student you are legible for a discounted ticket of £6.50 Friday to Sunday in Screens 1-3 subject to valid identification. Our Studio screens are not available with a discount.
Can I bring my baby?
Babies up to 24 months can come free of charge to a U or PG screening. Children over 24 months are charged our child rate of £5. Please be aware this policy is subject to change for special events.
We do not allow children under 24 months old into any other regular screenings.
We also have Parent + Baby screenings every Thursday at 11am. These screenings are exclusively for parents or guardians with babies under 24 months (free of charge for the baby) who are looking to enjoy the newest releases in a safe and welcoming environment. In order to create the correct atmosphere we ensure the sound is a little lower than usual and that there is a little more light in screen so you can see exactly what your newest little bundle is up to.
Do you show 35mm?
Most of our screenings are projected on digital, however we have occasional 35mm showings. Head to Events + Seasons and click the 35mm label to see them all in once place.
Cancellation policy. Can I get a refund?
We do not offer refunds for any of our tickets. If you are unable to attend a screening please speak to a member of the team who may be able to exchange your tickets into a voucher (valid for 1 year). We are unable to amend any booking less than 4 hours before the performance.
Special event tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
