More information:

In today’s competitive film industry, filmmakers need more than talent alone to succeed; they must also master visibility, credibility, and audience engagement. In this session, Arnaldo Stafa, Actor, Producer, and Founder of Aki Studio London, explores how independent filmmakers can use social media as a strategic tool to amplify their work and careers.

Drawing on his experience building a production company from the ground up, Arnaldo demonstrates how creative entrepreneurs can leverage social platforms to generate buzz, attract collaborators, and position their projects for long-term opportunities. He shares insights into branding, campaign-driven content, grassroots PR, and developing clear plans to grow from shorts to features. More than just marketing, his approach empowers filmmakers to see themselves as both artists and entrepreneurs, capable of building sustainable careers.

Arnaldo has produced impactful shorts, including "My Hero" and "Decode Me," and is known for combining strong storytelling with effective business strategy. With Aki Studio London, he has built partnerships across the UK and Europe, while supporting creatives in developing their own voices.

This talk provides practical guidance and inspiration for filmmakers seeking to take control of their careers, connect with their audiences, and stand out in an increasingly crowded industry.

About the festival:

The London Independent Film Festival (LIFF) is devoted to the advancement of first- and second-time filmmakers telling amazing stories with limited budgets. Stretching over 10 days with numerous industry events, LIFF offers an unmissable opportunity for networking and building collaborations for future projects.
