Being Muslim After 9/11 follows filmmakers Mobeen Azhar and Masood Khan on a journey through the country, speaking to people from across the Muslim community to explore how life has changed in the twenty-five years since the September 11th attacks.
The film confronts questions around identity, belonging and what it means to be Muslim in modern Britain.
Mobeen Azhar is journalist and film maker who makes access-based documentaries across television and radio. Accolades include a BAFTA, a RTS award, a Grierson award and an Amnesty International award. His specialist areas include religion, drugs, addiction, sex work, Prince and Pakistan.
